Ardencote is a family owned equestrian establishment run by Dale and Kellie Wildern alongside their daughters Sophie and Pippa. Originally based on a farm outside Swindon, the family recently relocated to Warwickshire, taking over the former training grounds of Olympic gold medallist Nick Skelton, a move that reflects their ambition and commitment to excellence.​

A genuinely horse mad family, the Wilderns have built their reputation through hunting, competing, and producing quality horses together. Sophie specialises in bringing on young horses and producing them thoughtfully through the levels, with an impressive string of eventers and showjumpers all home produced with exceptional care. Competing up to 4* in 2025, Sophie has her sights firmly set on reaching 5*, combining talent, determination, and a deep understanding of what it takes to develop genuine partnerships between horse and rider.
